Welcome to this project website. This site showcases, supports and provides a reference for a 2005-2006 e-Learning Collaborative Development Fund (eCDF) project sponsored by the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC).

In brief, the project involved the following...

• Enrichment of an existing e-learning tool (PBL-Interactive) which can both author and deliver interactive scenarios for problem-based learning (PBL). This tool can also be used for PBL research.
• Development of 16 exemplar scenarios in a variety of subjects for the e-learning software above.
• Development of a second e-learning tool (CHALLENGE FRAP) to facilitate problem-based learning.
• Research, and the development of manuals, guides and workshops which assist in embedding these tools and the PBL paradigm in tertiary teaching.

All outputs from the above are freely available to all New Zealand Government-owned Tertiary Institutions. See the section titled "Delivery of Outputs" in the right-hand panel.
